Engagement Session on the Bellevue Waterfront

When I jumped on my first phone call with Su and Evan, I knew they were meant for each other. They had met over coffee and books at their favorite local spot (straight out of a romance movie, I know) and began dating. As they shared the wonderful story of how they met, how they grew closer together, and ultimately, how Evan proposed, I felt myself mesmerized by their fairytale story.

For their session, Su had the perfect idea to tie their photos back to this story by surprising Evan with a signed copy of one of the first books they had discussed and recommended to one another. It was an absolutely brilliant way for them to engage in an activity they both love, reading, as they enjoyed their time during the session.

As we wandered around the park, where they had one of their first official dates, they reminisced on moments it took to get where they are today.

During the session, we knew we wanted to highlight some of their favorite things. As we continued in the session, we made our way down to the water and they shared a toast to their future. Celebrating with champagne and sitting on the dock, they clinked glasses and watched the beautiful sunset.
