Romantic Beach Session at Torrey Pines

This beautiful session allowed me to shoot at one of California’s prettiest parks, Torrey Pines. When researching photo locations in the San Diego area, I found many beautiful beach spots up and down the coast. We finally decided on Torrey Pines for the perfect spot. It’s an interesting mix of trees, sandy paths, and the beach.

This session was extra special to me because these are amazing photos of two of my dear friends. I was visiting California for the weekend when they asked me to do a session with them! They wanted to choose somewhere unique, highlighting different aspects of California outside of just the simple “beach session.” So, Grace and I got to work searching for the perfect spot, and I have to say we found a beauty. This is one of my favorite locations that I have done a session at. As someone who has shot sessions in multiple state parks across Arizona, California, and Washington, take it from me. This was wonderful.

There were a few people on the trail we were following, which wasn’t necessarily helpful for the session, but people were kind, and we found large breaks in people to get these shots. The further down the trail towards the beach you get, the fewer people there are! This allows for a lot of romantic and secluded spots.

Overall, the session was so wonderful, and these photos turned out exactly as I had imagined.
