my philosophy

We live in a fast-paced environment where our activities are rushed, and each moment slips through our fingers. We are often unable to cherish or spend time in these moments, as we are immediately moving on to the next thing. Photography has the remarkable ability to capture these moments and transform them into tangible memories where we slow down, observe, and appreciate the beauty and emotion in the world around us. Everyone has a unique story that requires unique documentation.

God created so many aspects of this world with incredible beauty. From the sprawling landscapes he carefully sculpted to each individual person on this earth, careful thought and creativity can be seen in everything. My goal is to help document some of that beauty and allow you to cherish each moment in his wonderful work.

I absolutely love photography and capturing the beauty of people, but I have always been a storyteller. Even from a young age, I found myself writing fiction and short stories, creating characters and designing narratives. I was an established Wattpad author and worked on these fictional tidbits before I ever touched a camera. When I hit high school, that changed. I still wanted to document people's stories, feelings, and emotions, but that looked a little bit different than self-publishing random books to a digital platform. I started getting interested in photography after taking a general media course in high school that touched on a photo unit for a few weeks. I launched into it, spending time on YouTube, Lynda.com, and thoroughly evaluating the artwork of fantastic current and historic photographers. Finding inspiration and studying work by Annie Liebovitz, Alexey Titarenko, and Henri Cartier-Bresson, I became fascinated with the different ways you could use and push a camera technologically. Since then, I have dedicated a lot of time and energy to learn everything I can about shooting and capturing images in an art form and documenting people on some of the most magical days of someone's life.

Since then, I have continued my learning process as it relates to running a business and connecting with new clients, refining my shooting style and editing, and working to establish my role as an artist in the industry.

Not just art

Your wedding day is about more than beautiful photos—it's about you. While the final gallery will be a stunning collection of moments, it’s your story, your connection, and the love you share that truly bring those images to life. I believe in capturing more than just art. I want you to feel free to be yourselves, authentic and at ease, knowing that I’m there not only as your photographer but as someone working alongside your vendor team to make your day seamless.

My goal is to create an environment where you feel cherished, so the emotions of the day shine through naturally. You should feel the love, joy, and spontaneity as it happens, with photos that reflect not just the beauty of your wedding but the genuine moments you’ll want to relive forever. Together, we’ll create timeless memories that are as authentic as your love.
